What is NLP?
NLP stands for Neuro-Linguesic Programming, it is a name that encompasses the three most influential components that produce human experience: neurology, language and programming. Read more below.
The neurological system regulates how your bodies function, language determines how we interface and communicate with others, and programming determines the kinds of models of the world we create depending on the individual life experiences and expectancies. NLP is the fundamental dynamics that stands between mind and language and how their interplay affects our body and behavior which is the NLP programming part.
So what is NLP?. NLP is a thought process- it addresses the many levels of being human. NLP is a multi-dimensional process that involves a strategic thinking and an understanding f the mental and cognitive processes behind behavior. NLP provides tools and skills for the development of states of individual excellence with change, as this is how our relaxation CDs work, but it also establishes a system of empowering beliefs and pre determined suggestions about what human beings are, and what communication is and what the process of change is all about, such as our weight reduction cds and our stop smoking cd.
NLP is also about self-discovery, exploring identity and mission your mission. It also provides the frames that are individual to our family, community and environmental systems. NLP can help you with wisdom and vision and change, feel it hear it and see it equals Become it.
NLP: A Map of Reality
NLP is the map and not the land. As human beings, we never know reality. We only know our perception of reality your brain can only think of what it believes to be its reality. We respond to the world around us by the thoughts and sensory systems. It is our Neuro-linguestc maps of reality that determine how we behave and that is what will give the behaviors meaning, not the reality itself. Reality dose not have the ability to help or hinder us rather the map we have created in our mind map of what reality really
The life we live in is a systemic life, our body’s our societies, and our surroundings form an ecology of complex systems and sub systems all of which interact and which influence our systems based on certain organizing principles and of course our mind will seek optimal states of balance or homeostasis.
With the use of NLP we will try to reach the richest map possible that respects effective choices and perspectives while enriching the choices that you have and perceive as available in the world around you. You can only make a wise choice in life when you have multiple perspectives of life.
Origins of NLP
NLP was originated by John Grinder and Richard Bandier for the purpose of making explicit models of human excellence. It would identify the verbal and behavioral patterns for therapist. Our Cds uses many forms of NLP just as we use it in our office to produce change in our clients.
